Humans of Bis – Peter
“Attitude and enthusiasm is the most crucial element when it comes to success,” says Peter.
Peter is one of our passionate Bis team members, originally from the UK and begun his career with Bis five years ago. His career begun in a workshop in Welshpool where he spent his first eight months. Peter was recognised for his hard work at the workshop and later secured an opportunity to work at one of the mining operations in the Pilbara.
Peter now works at our Murrin Murrin operations, where he services and maintains our fleet of dual powered road trains.
A typical day for Peter is never the same and that is one of the main reasons why Peter enjoys doing what he does.
He credits his supervisor Brian Young with being a fantastic influence and mentor. Of his time with Bis, Peter says it is essential to have a strong leader who has a firm commitment to safety.
